The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has arrested an 80-year-old woman, and her granddaughter, 19, for possessing cocaine and heroin in Akure, Ondo state.

The old woman, identified as Mrs Mary Adebayo, and her granddaughter, Funmilola Adebayo, were apprehended with 192 kg of cocaine and other drugs in their home in Akure, Ondo State.

According to report, two other ladies were also arrested alongside the woman and her daughter for trading illicit drugs including cocaine, heroin, tramadol, skuchies, methamphetamine, and swinol.

It was also reported that the 192 kgs of cocaine and other psychotropic substances were recovered from the suspects, as they were arrested at 6:30am, on Sunday, at Ayeyemi Street, Akure South Local Government Area. Two deep freezers and a TVS motorcycle were recovered from them.
