A clash between factions of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) on Thursday morning disrupted business activities at Obalende, Lagos Island.
Commuters going about their routine businesses were startled by sporadic gunshots said to have emanated around the Ken Salem House.
Although the cause of the clash was yet unknown, video footage posted online showed people running to safety onto and under the long bridge.
